At the release of his new album, "I Am Listening" (12/2013), Brian Pellicano proved to be an inspiring Christian songwriter, musician, and vocalist. These gifts have enabled him to invoke a love of faith in others, as his relationship with Christ has been conveyed through a refreshing contemporary style.
Brian’s home parish community at St. Rose of Lima in Newtown, CT helped to ignite his love of Jesus Christ, creating an opportunity to grow in his faith and cultivate his musical ability. His faith deepened at the University of Vermont where he built a modern praise and worship culture in the UVM Catholic Center community. Other parts of his college career such as Division 1 Track and XC, medical research, and many other activities now fuel many stories in his talks. He uses the challenges he faced in his counter-cultural lifestyle to reveal to teens the emptiness of "success" by our culture's standards and to point to the fullness of life found in the Catholic church.
It was during this formative years that he was encouraged to follow his love of music and faith to become a Christian singer-songwriter. His devotion to Christ led him to take his God-given talent and develop it into music that makes us think more deeply about our lives. All of Brian’s music and lyrics are composed and arranged by him. Every instrument (including the piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and percussion), and vocal (lead and harmonies) is performed by Brian on his recordings. His lyrics can be inspiring, healing, and thought provoking. All who know Brian believe that he has been blessed with his outstanding talents to share the good news of Jesus Christ through his music. Brian is currently serving as Youth Minister and Confirmation Coordinator at St. Agatha Parish in the south shore of Boston.
Brian is often requested to keynote and lead worship at events such as middle school, high school and young adult retreats, local graduations and as a parish mission keynote.
